Purpose
The purpose of the course is that the student aquires a fundamental insight to the importance that language has for induvidual development as identity, culture and knowledge promotion. That the student develops his writing skills
Learning outcomes
On completion of the course, the student should be able to: • explain basic theories about language as a communitication tool and as identity, cultural and knowledge promotion and combine these with pedagogical work. • demonstrate suitable language and communittication skills in various genres and contexts • explain what distinguishes work of art and narrative art and combine it with the individual culture and identity development • explain what happens in a language resistance • Show insight in theories about bilingualism
