Academic content
Purpose
The purpose of this course is that the students get insight in and are made conscious of genereal dictacical themes, which can be linked to the daily work in a nursery, pre-schools, recreational school and youth house. Emphasis will be put on making the student grasp how theory and practice are intertwined in the course subject.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, the student should be able to: • Make a plan based based on pedagogical and didactical knowledge. • Explain and assess how a concrete approach can be organized, based on relevant pedagogical and didactical knowledge. • Use didactics and theories as a tool in the practicum.
Content
The practicum is the biggest part of the course Pedagogy and didactics II. Therefore the teaching is mainly a preparation for the practicum. The teaching will analyze the requirements for the practicum and the requirements of the students practicum. The course includes these themes: • Common didactics • Curriculum • The pedagogical Policy • Practicum

Lectures, discussion groups, individual assignments, smaller and larger writing excercises.
