Academic content

Purpose: The aim of the course is that the students, based on theoretical knowledge and reasoning, must carry out, assess, prepare, execute and evaluate creative activities for a target group within the pedagogical area.
Learning outcomes: On completion of the course, the student should be able to: • Describe and analyse theories in relation the pedagogical area. • Apply theories in order to prepare and justify for the activities. • Initiate creative activities, based on pedagogical policies, curriculum and laws of the pedagogical field. • Analyse and communicate about how the creative activities are working based on the project. • Work with sustainability in connection with creative pedagogical work.
Content: • Continuity of theories on creative activities in relation to practicum. • Creative activities aimed at a selected target group. • Prepare, carry out and evaluate a creative project .
Learning and teaching approaches: Lectures, group work practicum, oral and written assignments, presentations, self study, guidance and evaluation.
