- Purpose
- The requirement for taking the course is that the student is enrolled in the Faculty of Education.
- Learning outcomes
- By the end of the course, the student should be able to: • Organize workshops for primary school students based on their own teaching plans, which are aligned with the curriculum for the biology part of nature and technology. • Develop models of various systems in the human body that explain their functions, and be able to explain why models are used in natural sciences. • Formulate questions that encourage students to think about natural phenomena and concepts, and guide them in gathering information, posing questions, and forming hypotheses that can be tested. • Be able to process data, analyze knowledge, evaluate source material, and justify conclusions.

- The course is divided into four main parts: Natural Science Theory in the Context of Primary School • Biology in the Elementary Level • Learning in and from Nature Ecology • Theory of Evolution • Food Chains • Biological Sustainability and Biodiversity Taxonomy, Animals, and Plants • Fungi • Plants • Animals and Animal Life The Human Body • Skeleton and Muscles • Circulatory Systems – Blood Vessels, Lungs, and Lymph Nodes • Digestion • Nervous System and Senses • Mental and Physical Health • Sex and Sexual Development
