Academic content

Purpose: On this course the students will get knowledge about the special pedagogical working field. The purpose with the course is for the student to be able to intertwine theory with practice.
Learning outcomes: On completion of the course, the student should be able to: • Intertwine relevant theory with the practical part. • Relate critically og analytically to the laws, policies and rules that apply to the special pedagogic field • Explain and take into account stages of development and conditions for the people she/he takes care of • Work, co-operate and communicate with colleges and the people she/he takes care of in regard to creating a developing and instructive environment
Content: • The research process for the student’s practicum field • Preparation for the practicum • Didactic process in relation to the laws – curriculum • Working methods • To be able to work in practice based on the individual person • Evaluation
